The Committee for Greater Frankston is proud to welcome…
I do Group — a company providing services to trade professionals in the air conditioning, refrigeration and electrical industries. The company — based in Carrum Downs — was formed in 2003 and has since grown from a single tradesmen to 15 staff. With customers all over Melbourne, the group is now involved in building and construction; food manufacturing, facilities maintenance and commercial refrigeration and air conditioning.
Leigh Cummins is a director of the company and has lived in the Frankston area for most of his life. Obtaining his electrical trade credentials in his early twenties, he saw opportunity in the air conditioning industry and started a small business from there. Leigh lives, works and plays across the Greater Frankston region. He is married with a child who also attends school in the local area, and his family enjoy sailing at Daveys Bay Yacht Club. He was motivated to join C4GF as both a local employer and resident: ‘The forming of this Committee is important and overdue. Our region needs advocacy to government at all levels to ensure our community and businesses receive recognition and support through planning and funding. Traffic congestion around Melbourne is an issue and our preference is to help grow the local economy: more work in the local area will mean less travelling across Melbourne.’
