Latest News 31 July 2018.
Federal Labor has announced bipartisan support for the Frankston rail extension project.
Shadow Minister for Infrastructure, Transport, Cities and Regional Development, Anthony Albanese visited Frankston to discuss Federal Labor plans to bring forward the funding timelines of this vital regional transport project.
Mr Albanese said, “Liberals have now put $225 million on the table for the Baxter project, but none of that money is available in 2018-2019. Labor will do better.”
The commitment was made at a Committee for Greater Frankston hosted a ‘city partnerships’ round table.
